New Europeans UK celebrated our first annual general meeting as a charity, as well as the eighth anniversary of our foundation, on Friday June 18.
This event has now passed. A recording of parts of the event are available below.
We are delighted that our guest speaker was Professor Dimitrios Giannoulopoulos.
Professor Dimitrios Giannoulopoulos holds the Inaugural Chair in Law, and is the Head of the Department of Law, at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is an Associate Academic Fellow of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Our guest speaker was followed by Michaela Benson, who started a new position as Professor in Public Sociology at Lancaster University. They both discussed the challenges Brexi poses to the rights of EU citizens in the UK and Britons in Europe.
